Introduction
Biteslog ("we", "us", "our") operates biteslog.com and the Biteslog application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Account information (email, display name) when you sign in via Google or email link. Your meal plans, dishes, nutrition goals, and body stats that you enter. Usage data (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.
How we use it
To provide and improve the meal planning service. To compute your personalized nutrition targets. To enable plan sharing when you create a share link. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
Your plan data is private by default. When you create a share link, the plan becomes viewable by anyone with that link. You can revoke the link at any time. Published plans ("spreads") are publicly visible.
Data storage
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth. We use standard security practices to protect your information.
Your rights
You can view, export, or delete your data at any time. To delete your account, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
